This is something that happened earlier this year that I must share with you. We carry some canning jars in different sizes and sometimes by various makers. Here in the neighborhood that I work in, the locals tend to be very picky about the canning jars that they want to buy. Sometimes too picky. Example A was this guy who has this perpetual mean streak every time he comes in to complain about why we stopped carrying the mason jars he likes to use. Well, we don't have personal vendettas against anyone and we offered something comparable. Usually, he storms out, but finally he agreed to wait until the new styles arrive. Anyway, he came in last week and had this look on his face like he was going to curse someone out. He walks up to one of my coworkers and in this purely arrogant tone asked "Where are my mason jars?" My coworker replied "Oh they came in today" as he goes to get them. Upon receiving them, the guy doesn't even say thank you for ordering them or nothing-just a real stick in the mud. He does represent the vast majority of people who seem to think that if we stopped carrying something, it has everything to do with them and not the production company.
