Don't Hesitate (You Could Be Rolling Your Eyes)

I work at Wal-Mart, and not just any Wal-Mart. I work at the busiest Wal-Mart in my town. I had just clocked in for the day, and had already been scolded by my department manager for passing keys to an associate outside of electronics (I was the only one in my department and I was covering for somebody in the photo department, whilst customers were waiting in both the photo and electronics departments). It seemed pretty dull since there wasn't any stock to put out at the moment, so I grabbed my windex and paper towels and began cleaning the game and iPod cases.
A woman--a bitch--came into my department barking at her husband about something, and then asked me something about her camera. I thought she was asking for an SD card to save photos on (at which point my eyes shifted as I hesitated to give my response) and I pointed her towards photo and said "It should be in photo". She repeated my phrase and I nodded in confirmation. Less than ten minutes later she's back in my department talking with three managers and pointing in my direction.
When she leaves, the store manager, a zone merchandise supervisor, and an assistant manager all walk toward me and ask me to follow them to the office. They sit me down and inform me that a customer had just registered a MAJOR complaint against me. Apparently I "rolled" my eyes at her in a sarcastic fashion. I was also rude and reluctant to help. I explained that I was trying to understand what she was asking, and that my expression tends to shift a lot when in thought or confusion. I still got the whole nine yards of lecture.
Customers suck. None of them are ALWAYS RIGHT.
